To ensure that ManagementStudio can be fully restored in the case the system failure, it's important to run backups. This is the recommended approach:
- Daily backups of the SQL database
- Daily backups of the ManagementStudio IIS web folder on the IIS server (see below)
- Daily backups of the ManagementStudio file storage folder. The path to this folder can be located in appsettings.json which is stored in the IIS web folder (see below)
- Any SSL Certificates should be backed up in the event the IIS Server needs to be rebuilt
