Introduction

Accessing the Portal Page
The Portal page is accessed through the Administration section:
- Switch to Administration -> Portal Settings (1).
- Click New Portal Page to create a new page (2) or Expand the Portal pages tree (3) to view an existing portal page.
- The Page Setup tab will be displayed by default.
Page Setup Layout
UI Elements | Description |
Save Changes (1) | Save changes after creating or editing a portal page. |
Cancel Changes (2) | Dismiss any changes to the portal page since the last save. |
Delete Page (3) | Delete the selected portal page. |
Page Name (4) | Name of the portal page. |
Enabled. Only enabled pages can be viewed in the portal (5) | Enable this option to allow the pages to be viewed in the portal. |
ID (6) | Internal ID of the portal page. |
Browser Window Title (7) | The title of the page displayed in the browser window. |
Url Slug (8) | Shortcut to the page, unique across all pages and projects. e.g. http://MS.Local/NewAppRequest |
Category - Organise your portal Pages into Categories. E.g. 'Help Pages\How to Guides'. (9) | These categories are only used in this Admin view. |
Internal Name (10) | Internal name of the portal page. |
View on Portal | |
Portal Wrapper (11) | The portal wrapper selected to be displayed with the portal page. |
Web Url by Slug (12) | The unique shortcut url to the page. |
Web Url by Id (13) | The web url by Id. This can be copied and pasted in a web browser. |
Web Url by Name (14) | The web url by name. This can be copied and pasted in a web browser. |
Keyword by Id (15) | Keyword by ID. This is used to resolve the portal page in an Email. |
Keyword by Name (16) | Keyword by Name. This is used to resolve the portal page in an Email. |
HTML Mode Portal pages can be designed using the page builder which supports drag and drop UI controls. However, if this is not sufficient raw html can be used to build the page. | |
Enter Raw Html Mode (17) | Use this option to toggle between builder Html and raw Html. |
