Overview

The Issue Reporting System plugin provides users with a dedicated channel to report any issues encountered during or after a migration. It empowers users to log and track problems in real time, while giving IT teams a centralised view of all reported issues to support rapid resolution.

This transparency helps maintain user satisfaction by ensuring issues are acknowledged, monitored, and resolved in a structured, visible manner.

Key Features

  1. Enable users to raise and monitor their own issues
  2. Support ongoing updates and communication on open tickets
  3. Track all reported problems in a consolidated report
  4. Enhance accountability and response times during migrations

Component Parts

1. Issue Report Centre

A Portal Page where users can view their active issues, log new ones, and track the progress of previously submitted reports.

2. Report New Issue

A Portal Form used by users to raise new issues. Once submitted, the user is automatically added as a contact on the newly created record, ensuring they receive updates.

3. Review Issue

A Portal Form that allows users to check the status of an existing issue and provide additional notes or clarifications where needed.

4. Overall User Issues Report

A Datamining Report that aggregates all submitted issues into a single view—ideal for tracking resolution trends, categorising issue types, and measuring support performance.
