Introduction

The Time in process tier helps to calculate the total duration an item spends in a specific or entire process workflow in ManagementStudio. Track the time taken by each item in the project based on the duration taken across each workflow. For example, a user can track the number of days an application remained in the UAT workflow. The time in process tier is available within the datamining report across all modules in ManagementStudio.

Accessing the Time in Process Tier

Switch to the desired Module [Applications in this example]
Click Datamining Report from the ribbon at the top
Click Add Time in Process

Time in Process Layout

UI Element	Description
Display Mode	Group on Status – displays the time based on the internal status of the workflow processes Group on Processes – displays the time based on the workflow processes Full List – displays the time based on the full list comprising of the current internal status and the workflow process
Time in Process Unit	Use this section to calculate the time in process based on a working day, a 24hour day, number of hours and minutes. In addition, a user can specify the working start time/End time and limit report to a specific date.
Process Status to Exclude	Used to exclude the internal workflow process status.
Days of the Week to Exclude	Used to exclude the days of the week.
Dates to Exclude	Used to exclude specific dates and date ranges.
