Introduction
UTC—Coordinated Universal Time—is the 24-hour time standard used as a basis for civil time today. All time zones are defined by their offset from UTC. The offset is expressed as either UTC- or UTC+ and the number of hours and minutes. Deployment Units can have UTCs set against them to ensure it is using the local time zone.
Here’s how to set the UTC against a DU.
- Switch to Administration->Deployment Units->Details Config (1)
- Type in UTC in the search box (2)
- Set both fields to be visible (3)
- Click Save changes (4)
- Do not restart the client
- To make these fields visible on the grid, switch to Administration->Deployment Units->Grid Config and repeat steps 2 – 4
- Restart the client
- Once done, you need to set the UTC
- Switch to the Deployment Units module
- Highlight the Deployment Unit want to set the UTC against on the grid
- Right click and select Update Fields (1)
- Checkboxes-> Use UTC Offset-> Checked (2)
