Test Sign-Off Email Templates

ManagementStudio enables project administrators to request test sign-off from end users via web forms, commonly used during processes such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Users can receive email notifications and submit results directly in their browser for different delivery types, such as physical desktop, thin client, or virtualised application.

Test Sign-Off emails are available in the following modules:

Applications
Users
Devices
Mailboxes
Bespoke
Deployment Units
Defects

Accessing Test Sign-Off Email Templates

To access and manage Test Sign-Off email templates for a specific module:

Navigate to Administration → Portal Settings → Test Sign-Offs.
On the Test Sign-Off page:
- To create a new test, select New Test Sign-Off and choose a module.
- To modify an existing test, select a Test Sign-Off from the tree view on the left.
Click the Emails tab within the selected Test Sign-Off.

Test Sign-Off Email Template Types

Each Test Sign-Off contains the following email templates:

Template Name	Description
`Request Email`	Invites the end user to participate in the Test Sign-Off and provides a link to the web form.
`Reminder Email`	Reminds the end user to complete the Test Sign-Off. By default, sent automatically after 14 days. The waiting period can be adjusted in `Settings → Email → Send Reminder after X Days` for the Test Sign-Off.
`Complete (Thank you) Email`	Confirms that ManagementStudio has received the user's input.
`Updated Test Email`	Notifies the end user when parameters of the Test Sign-Off have changed.
`Cancelled Email`	Notifies the end user if a Test Sign-Off is cancelled.

Creating Email Content

Main Body

The main body is the content displayed to recipients. Editing the email body for Test Sign-Offs uses the same process as Portal Pages. For instructions on adding and formatting content in email templates, refer to:

Email Template Wrappers

All Test Sign-Off emails use a global email wrapper that controls layout, style, header, and footer. The customised content for each template is inserted into this wrapper when the message is sent.
