Description

The Test Sign-Offs chart provides multiple views of Test Sign-Off data. It can display sign-offs over time, group data by sign-off type, and present an overall summary. Selecting the correct chart type for your selected variant is important for clear data visualisation. Recommended chart types are listed below.

 

Variants

Note that the recommended chart type is shown in brackets in the name.

  • Result vs Date

    • Displays pass/fail results over time.
    • Recommended Chart Type: Line Chart
  • Result vs Type

    • Uses pass, fail, and outstanding as the chart axis.
    • Plots the sum of Test Sign-Off types as values.
    • Recommended Chart Type: Bar Chart
  • Type vs Result

    • Uses test names as the chart axis.
    • Plots the sum of pass/fail results as values.
    • Recommended Chart Type: Bar Chart
  • Result Totals

    • Shows aggregate pass, fail, and outstanding values.
    • Does not display test type.
    • Provides an overall summary.
    • Recommended Chart Type: Pie Chart

Advanced Arguments

  • Filter Results to specific Test Name
    • Restricts results to a specific Test Sign-Off.
    • Accepts Test ID or Name.
    • Example: If several sign-offs exist, entering UAT - Test will display data only for UAT sign-offs.
  • Look back Weeks
    • Limits results to the past X number of weeks.
    • Filters based on the creation date of the Test Sign-Off.
    • Can be used with any variant, but is most effective with the Result vs Date variant.
