Enabling File Attachments for Test Sign-Offs
In some scenarios, testers may need to upload files - such as screenshots or log files - when completing a Test Sign-Off. Follow the steps below to enable file attachments for Test Sign-Offs within a module (e.g., Applications).
Configure Test Sign-Offs to Allow File Attachments
- Navigate to
Administration → Portal Settings → Test Sign-Offs. - On the Test Sign-Off page, either:
- Select New Test Sign-Off and choose the desired module, or
- Select an existing Test Sign-Off from the tree view.
- Select the
Settingstab for the chosen Test Sign-Off. - Scroll to the
Test Attachments Typesection. - Set the
Test Attachments TypetoApp Test User Attachment. - Click
Save Settings, then selectSaveto confirm your changes.

Add an Attachment Field to the Test Layout
- Go to the
Question Layouttab. - Click
New Fieldto add a new field. - In the new field configuration panel towards the bottom, set
Special ControltoAttachment. - Enter the desired label in the
Special Control Textfield (e.g.,Please upload an attachment). This label will appear above the file selection button. - Click
Save Changesto update the test layout.

Result
Testers will now have the option to upload files during the test sign-off process. The specified label will be displayed above the file selection control.
